Colleges & Universities
We understand that drug education does not and should not stop in secondary school. In fact, we strongly believe that college students have much to gain from alcohol and drug education to support those choosing to continue abstinence from high school, those deciding to drink for the first time, and those bringing their relationship with alcohol with them from secondary school.
According to the Core Institute, an organization that surveys college-drinking practices, 159,000 of today’s first-year college students will drop out of school next year for alcohol or other drug related reasons. The research goes on to say that almost one-third of college students admit to having missed at least one class because of their alcohol or other drug use. Many students we work with are eager to get to the “party” in college. Unfortunately, many are unequipped for the abrupt social and emotional changes of college life. When the protective fences of high school (parents, curfews, friends, structured school life) fall away, there are those who cannot cope with the independence and many choices facing them.
Alcohol is the most widely used and misused substance in our colleges and universities today. Alcohol and alcohol-related problems impact almost everyone on a college campus.
The “Say When…” program goes beyond talking about rules and regulations, and addresses the personal relationship all students must negotiate with alcohol. This is a fun and interactive program that doesn’t lose the seriousness of the topic.

National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Athletes Program
Jeff Wolfsberg offers college athletes a substance abuse education program that is approved by the NCAA. All NCAA colleges and universities are required to provide substance abuse education to their student athletes each school year. Jeff Wolfsberg can provide that education and the school will be eligible to receive grant funds from the NCAA to cover the some costs of the program.
