Dr. G. Alan Marlatt is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Washington and Director of the Addictive Behaviors Research Center at that institution. Dr. Marlatt is known for his work in the fields of Harm Reduction, Relapse Prevention, and he is the creator of BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Student) a widely used evidence-based intervention that addresses harmful drinking by college students. Dr. Marlatt is our guest today on the podcast.
